OYO Arden Guest House, Craigmillar Castle Edinburgh

Comfortable room, ideal location for the night before an early meeting at Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, 30 minutes on the bus from near Edinburgh Waverley train station. Toiletries, tea and coffee provided were a nice touch, local shops nearby. Clean, if a bit tired. good price overall.

A lovely sized room and bed. A good coffee and tea tray. A walk in sized wardrobe. Plenty of parking at the back of property as well the front.

Warm, cosy and so enjoyable. Close enough for a walk if you're up for it and if not the bus facilities are amazing and really cheap and easy to use. It was clean and everything you needed was in the room.

I try to review hotels for the price point they cater to, and for the money this cost (and on the Jubilee Weekend too!) this exceeded expectations; the room was fine, the ensuite was perfectly serviceable, the bed comfy enough etc. Special mention to the staff who are very friendly and helpful. This is a perfect cheap place to crash for a night or two.

It was on a bus route to get you into the city. The property was quiet which was nice
